Kid Power

Painting with an 11-year-old…thumbs up or thumbs down?  An enthusiastic thumbs up!  I may not have been inundated with new inspiration, but I had an amazing time, and so did she.This child, and I use the term loosely, is incredibly focused, self aware and confident.  

Watching her paint, make decisions, with no concerns as to right or wrong, was inspirational.  She was simply instinctual, with no self-imposed restrictions.  

As it turns out, we could all take a bit of instruction from a child.
